I wanted to put in writing my positive experience with your organization from the 1st day we started looking for the nanny till the day the nanny arrived to our house and starting to be part of the family.

I wanted to tell you how pleased I am with my experience with caregiverlistings. As you know, I had been struggling to care for my mother - who is in the early to mid stage of Alzheimer's - from a distance. Doing her banking and paying her bills online has been easy but the daily visits from a local homecare worker didn't seem to help. The staff changed frequently and my mother was a bit apprehensive of them and sometimes a bit hostile.
After deciding to bring a live-in caregiver from overseas I searched the Internet and looked into several sites. Eventually it was down to yours and one other. Frankly, since there seemed to be no difference in the quality of service and the quality of candidates I went with your service because there is no fee involved. (I may live in NY but I'm still Scottish Canadian at heart...)
The entire process was quicker and easier than I imagined. Your friendly responsiveness and guidance and frequent updates helped greatly. But the biggest impact has been the wonderful young woman you helped us bring to Canada from the Philippines. She is hard-working and has a sweet and happy disposition. She's a little shy but perhaps that is why my mum took to her so quickly and so well. It was a month yesterday that the young woman arrived and Mum feels like she has a granddaughter living with her. (But a granddaughter who cheerfully sees the exact same movie five days in a row and tints Mum's hair and cleans the house, etc.)
I can't tell you the burden that's been lifted from my shoulders. Not only do I not have to worry about my mother wandering off or leaving a burner on or forgetting to eat but they both seem so content with each other. (I also have done my best to make the young woman comfortable - got her a computer with high speed Internet, paid half of her airfare, helped her find the new local Filipino federation so she won't be homesick. Let's just see how she copes with her first New Brunswick winter...)
Seriously, though, thanks for your hard work and for making all this possible. I wanted a way to keep Mum in her own home for as long as we could and this is working out so incredibly well. Also, it's affordable and I don't feel as if we're taking advantage of the young woman as she will eventually be eligible for citizenship. Everyone seems to be a winner. So, thanks again. Feel free to use me as a reference any time.

I’ve been using CaregiverListings.com in order to find a Nanny. Thru the entire process I’ve been dealing with Ryan. We got our Nanny from Taiwan 4 month after we had filed the application with the government. We always had good advice from Ryan and he always been on top of the file for the fallow up. The response was quick and the information was exact. When I had twin boys I had no idea what I was in for. As they were getting older, taking care of them became quite the juggling act. My husband and I thought it was time to hire a nanny.
